VOLATILE cryptocurrency markets are prompting more Filipinos to seek structured trading knowledge to better manage risk and improve decision-making, crypto education provider Global Miranda Miner Group (GMMG) said.
GMMG CEO Arlone Abello said heightened market swings had underscored the need to develop technical analysis skills and adopt disciplined risk management strategies instead of relying on market sentiment.
“Volatility frequently shocks the community. Filipino investors and traders need to understand that crypto markets are not just about price prediction,” he said.
“They require a solid grasp of support and resistance levels, risk-reward balance, and how to manage exposure under fast-changing conditions, as well as the ability to recognize risks unique to each digital asset,” he added.
Many investors were said to have entered the market during bullish periods but were often unprepared for corrections, resulting in significant losses due to emotional trading and absence of a structured strategy.
GMMG has launched a face-to-face Crypto Technical Analyst Executive Course, supported by the Philippine Digital Asset Exchange, to provide training in technical analysis, market psychology, risk management and trading execution.
The Philippines, it said, is among the world’s more active cryptocurrency markets, with an estimated 22 to 23 percent of the population holding digital assets.
